Connect Sanity to VoiceCite
Publish blog posts to your Sanity dataset with document type and field mapping for title, body, SEO, and more.
Setup steps
Connect in minutes
Create a Sanity API token
At manage.sanity.io, open your project → API → Tokens. Create a token with Editor or higher permissions.
Enter credentials in VoiceCite
Go to Settings → Integrations, select Sanity, and enter your Project ID, dataset (usually production), and API token.
Map your blog schema
Choose the document type VoiceCite should publish to (e.g. post), then map Title and Body fields. Optional: slug, excerpt, SEO title, SEO description, feature image, and publish date.
Choose body format
If your body field uses Portable Text, select Portable Text. For plain string or HTML fields, choose Plain HTML or Markdown instead.
Save and connect
Preview the mapped document JSON if you want to verify field paths, then click Save & Connect.

Common questions
In manage.sanity.io → your project → Settings. The dataset is usually named production.
No. Sanity is headless — VoiceCite writes meta fields you map, but your frontend must render them. FAQ and Article schema are not auto-generated.
Map slug to an existing slug field, or leave it unmapped. Title and Body are required to connect.
Yes. Use VoiceCite's content calendar — posts publish manually or at the scheduled time, same as Webflow and Framer.
